The Feed Industries Association Bangladesh (FIAB) is registered with the Joint Stock Companies, under section 28 of the Companies Act. 1994. FIAB is based in the capital city Dhaka. The association is established to promote, protect and safeguard the common interest of its members. FIAB is working to meet the demand for quality feed for poultry, aqua and cattle.
Mandatory Criteria for Membership
âThe manufacturer should have production capacity of minimum 1500 M. Ton per month or 18,000 M. Ton per annum.
âThe manufacturer should produce Poultry, Aqua and/or Cattle feed
âThe manufacture should have modern feed mill(s).
The main objectives of this association are:
âTo foster the responsible and safe production of Poultry, Fish, Shrimp and Cattle feed in Bangladesh
âTo establish just and equitable principles in the Feed Mills Management
âTo promote or oppose legislative and related matters affecting the trade
âTo form a code or codes of practices to simplify and facilitate transaction of deal in feed industries in Bangladesh.
